The Easter /spring holidays are here, giving us all an opportunity to recharge after a long Danish winter. The school is closed for two whole weeks from 9-24 April.
If you are looking for inspiration for activities this holiday, here are some beautiful paper cut-outs made by students in our primary school. They are known as “gækkebreve” in Denmark and are traditionally sent as letters to family and friends around Easter. They usually include a rhyme and a “vintergæk” (snowdrop) and are sent anonymously to the recipient. In return for the “gækkebrev”, the sender often receives an Easter egg 🙂
