EUROPEAN SCHOOL COPENHAGEN
New address from August 2017

The European School Copenhagen is currently housed at ‘Skolen i Sydhavnen’ but due to a growing number of pupils, there is no longer the required space for both schools. The Municipality of Copenhagen has therefore decided to relocate the European School Copenhagen temporarily to Kirsebærhavens Skole, Valby from August 2017 until the school’s new state-of-the-art school building has been completed. The new school will be located on the site of the former Carlsberg Breweries and is scheduled for completion in October 2018.

The school’s temporary address at Kirsebærhavens Skole will be: Blommehaven 10, 2500 Valby.

    Theme week – African animals
The theme of the theme week in November 2016 was 'African Animals', many of which are on the endangered animals list. The pupils visited Copenhagen Zoo before visiting hours, giving them a unique chance to see the animals in a more ‘natural’ setting and learn from the zoo keepers.
