All interested parents are invited to the school’s annual Orientation Evening, which is an opportunity to hear more about the school and the European School system, and meet the management, teachers and parent representatives from the School Board.

Please note that this event is for adults only – we kindly request that you do not bring your children.

    The European School Copenhagen will be temporarily located at 'Kirsebærhavens Skole', Valby from August 2017 until the school's new state-of-the-art school building has been completed.

    Theme Week about Water
    During the last week of April, the children at the European School Copenhagen explored 'All aspects of water' through a variety of science and art projects, dancing and singing, and a visit to the Experimentarium.

    On 9 May 2017, the European School Copenhagen marked Europe Day with class room as well as shared events and activities designed to teach the children about Europe and the European Union.

    These words were the focal point at the European School Copenhagen on Friday 3 March, the school’s annual Wellbeing Day.

    Congratulations to our chess team! 
    Students from the ESCPH chess club won 3rd place in the Copenhagen Chess Championships last week - and thereby qualified for the Danish Chess Championships!

    Theme week – African animals
    The theme of the theme week in November 2016 was 'African Animals', many of which are on the endangered animals list. The pupils visited Copenhagen Zoo before visiting hours, giving them a unique chance to see the animals in a more ‘natural’ setting and learn from the zoo keepers.

    On Monday 21 November, The European School Copenhagen hosted an Orientation Evening for more than 200 parents interested in the school.

    On Thursday June 9th the members of the European School Board are attending the groundbreaking ceremony marking the commencement of the construction of the new school building at the Carlsberg District.

    Theme Week about the Environment and Plastics
    What effect does plastic have on the environment?

    This is just one of the many questions that the children of the European School Copenhagen pondered during the schools second theme week of the year. The theme of the week was “Plastic” and the classrooms, hallways, and open spaces were filled with plastics of all sorts.
